Editorial independence
Between Pages is a personal blog. The opinions expressed here are Emma Reed's own. They are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or representative of any publisher, author, streaming service, or media organization. When I love a book or a film, I say so. When I don't, I say that too. No one pays me to be enthusiastic.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this site are affiliate links. This means that if you click through and make a purchase, the site may receive a small commission — usually a few percent of the purchase price. Your price is never affected. The commission helps keep the site running.
Specifically, Between Pages may participate in affiliate programs operated by online retailers and bookshops. Where an affiliate link is used, it is used because the product or book is one I would have recommended anyway. I do not include affiliate links to books or films I haven't read or watched, and I never recommend something solely because it pays a commission. That's a line I don't cross — partly on principle, partly because readers can always tell.
If you'd like to support the site directly without using an affiliate link, the most useful thing you can do is share an article you enjoyed.
Advertising
Between Pages may display third-party advertisements served by ad networks such as Google AdSense. These ads are selected automatically based on the page content or your browser's prior activity. Between Pages does not control, endorse, or guarantee any product or service advertised on the site. Clicking an ad takes you to the advertiser's site, which has its own terms and privacy practices.
For more on how advertising data is handled, see the Privacy Policy.
Accuracy and corrections
Articles on Between Pages are written carefully but not infallibly. If you find a factual error — a date, an author attribution, a misremembered plot point — please tell me through the Contact page and I'll correct it. I don't quietly memory-hole mistakes; corrections are noted at the bottom of the article.
No professional advice
Between Pages is a personal reading and viewing journal. Nothing on this site constitutes professional advice — financial, legal, medical, or otherwise. Articles are opinion and cultural commentary, written for general readers.
External links
Articles sometimes link to external sites — Wikipedia, publishers, bookshops, other writers' work. Between Pages does not control the content of those external sites and is not responsible for changes they make to their pages or policies. If you find a link that has gone bad, please let me know.
